Horse float tail gate gas strut assist pivot kit
This kit includes 2 brackets and 2 gas struts.
- 2x Gas struts 830mm long 1300N 14mm shaft gas struts with 13mm pivot balls.
- 2x 13mm Gas strut balls with 30mm long threat.
- 2x Horse float pivot bracket (gas strut type) 10mm
- 815mm between centres of balls when extended
- 460mm between centres of balls when compressed
- Kit will lift approx. 100kg door.
The brackets are to be predrilled to fit the gas strut and then welded under the rear of the float as pictured.
The strut is then fitted loosely so that the exact spot for the top bracket (not supplied, to be custom made) can be marked out and then welded.
