For this reason, if rough roads and corrugations will be encountered, we always recommend fitting the Off-Road version of electric brakes to your caravan, camper or trailer.

Which electric backing plate you choose will determine how your caravan will handle under braking. Electric backing plates are not all made the same therefore some work better than others.
